When digital identities become the real identity

Facebook, Twitter, mySpace, Second Life, AIM, Skype… How many digital identities will one person have? How will these related to one another? Will platforms like Second Life become a place of business, culture exchange, and daily social interaction?

This project certainly thinks so, questioning the fate of a person’s identity in a world where the myriad articulation of the digital self is part of daily human relations. The design of a bracelet, to be worn by a digital avatar, explores the relationship of a person’s many selves, questioning some of the repercussions of managing different representations of one same entity.

How will identity be understood in the future?

A bracelet system that will help us manage our digital identities in a digital realm.
